Graphite cutting joined Cosen's special material cutting portfolio years ago. We customized and built two graphite cutting vertical plate saws for a domestic Japanese company and sold a few more abroad.

On these two vertical plate saws, blade does not twist and runs up to 1400 M/min. Saw head travels and cuts to 2.5M length. Throat size is 1200 mm and height capacity 600 mm. Both saw frame and workbed are built with Cosen's renown rigidity. As the customer needed to erect the graphite panel and cut out an 8mm thin board, discussions points covering from material handling, clamping and down to gaps between workbed T-slots were all addressed and tackled with care.

Dust collection and short circuits prevention is another focus during design and commissioning.
