Cosen V-Drive Technology
COSEN analyzes the vibration frequency and amplitude in real time, then generates a 180 degree inverse compensation waveform. Dedicated actuators react within milliseconds, applying an opposite force—much like noise canceling headphones emit an inverse sound wave. When the two waves meet, they cancel each other out and blade vibration is instantly suppressed. That is why V Drive can dramatically boost efficiency when cutting “difficult to machine” materials such as titanium and nickel based alloys.
Benefits
• 25–50 % higher cutting rates – With vibration tamed, feed and blade speeds can be safely increased while keeping squareness and surface roughness well inside specification.
• Longer blade life – Lower vibrational energy means more uniform tooth loading, reducing blade costs by roughly 25 % on average.
• Reduced noise – Anti wave compensation also damps structural noise, creating a friendlier work environment.
• Consistent machining quality – Academic studies show active vibration control can cut blade transverse amplitude by more than half, delivering measurable gains in dimensional accuracy and surface smoothness.
