Cosen’s cloud services offers open API for our customers to easily collect key production information and bridge it to their own system.
Bandsaw Machine cutting history, machine status history (utilization), machine alarms and notifications, parameters used, saw blade usage, saw blade health assessment, motor amp draw, number of cuts performed, vibrations, work orders, jobs performed by each shift and etc. A pool of rich, complete and real-time information are available from our cloud service through open API.

- Technical and Security Specifications: API interactions utilize standard RESTful structures and universal JSON data formats, allowing your development team to connect effortlessly. Authentication protocols follow OAuth 2.0-based authorization frameworks to safeguard your production data. However, employing standard web technologies does not by itself ensure compliance with every corporate security policy or local firewall requirement.
- Clear Division of Integration Responsibility: The scope of Cosen's API is limited to providing authorized, reliable access to raw equipment telemetry. All front-end applications, reporting layouts, custom business logic, data cleaning, and database rendering on the ERP/MES side are the sole responsibility of the client's internal IT department, software vendors, or third-party Systems Integrators (SI). API licensing does not include custom end-user software development.
Mandatory Physical Hardware Carrier
While the Open API is a premium software data framework, it requires physical hardware to capture real-time floor metrics. Machines must be equipped with physical data collection host hardware (such as CPC-GO or CPC-LITE) to translate raw mechanical current and vibration signals into standard JSON data packets before they can be queried via the API. Once equipped, any bandsaw brand or age can be integrated.
Crucial Distinction: ERP Connection vs. Open API Connectivity
- ERP Connection is a 'Specific Application Solution': A pre-configured setup built for owners who want their machines routed directly into major ERP platforms (such as SAP or Oracle) with pre-mapped database tables.
- Open API Connectivity is the 'Underlying Technical Highway': If you don't want to connect to a standard ERP, but instead want to route raw data into a custom-built internal app, a proprietary SQL database, or a specialized MES, Cosen's API provides the raw digital endpoint for your Systems Integrator (SI) to build upon.
