Mechanical top clamps can secure stacked plates and make cutting multiple workpieces in one single cut possible on a vertical plate saw. It is also a recommended accessory even if you are just cutting a heavy block to get that extra stability.

Two vertical clamps come in one set to hold the ends of the material in place. The seats are locked to anywhere along the T-slots on the saw's workbed so that you can place the clamps closest to the material and easily turn the clamping head to where it is needed.
